Ukrainian drones strike Russian warehouses and oil facilities

Ukrainian drones struck targets across Russia on Saturday, killing between seven and eight people and wounding dozens more. Two warehouses belonging to the online retailer Wildberries were hit, one near Moscow and one in the Tambov region. An oil storage facility north of Moscow also caught fire, and staff had to move patients out of a nearby maternity hospital. In Elektrostal, falling drone debris started a fire at a kindergarten, which firefighters put out quickly. Russia said its air defences intercepted 379 drones across 19 regions. Ukrainian President Zelenskyy said the attacks were aimed at drone supply centres in the Moscow and Tambov areas. Ukraine has carried out many similar long-range strikes on Russian fuel and logistics sites during the war.
