Ukrainian drone strikes kill at least eleven people at Russian Black Sea resorts

Ukrainian drones struck two Russian Black Sea holiday areas on Monday, killing at least eleven people. Seven people died in the village of Arkhipo-Osipovka in the Krasnodar region, including three children. Four more people, including one child, were killed in a separate strike on Crimea. At least 21 people were taken to hospital, and nine of them are in serious condition. Falling pieces from intercepted drones also injured around 40 others. Both places are popular summer destinations for Russian tourists. Ukraine has not confirmed that it carried out the attacks. Russian officials say they shot down 131 additional Ukrainian drones overnight. The strikes show that Ukraine can hit targets deep inside Russian territory, well away from the main fighting.
