Ukraine strikes Ozon warehouses across southern Russia

Ukraine has attacked warehouses belonging to Ozon, Russia's second-biggest online shop, using drones. Six of the company's storage facilities were hit over three days. The strikes reached buildings in Dagestan, Krasnodar, Stavropol, and several other southern Russian regions. Fires broke out at the sites and some people were injured. Ozon's share price dropped by around 30% after the attacks. Ukraine's defence ministry said the facilities stored goods that could be used for military purposes, and that the strikes were meant to damage Russian supply chains. Russia has rejected this explanation. Ukrainian forces had already attacked Wildberries, Russia's largest online retailer, in the weeks before. The Ozon strikes show that Ukraine has widened its drone campaign to include more of Russia's commercial storage network.
