UK pet retailer plans to double store locations across the country

Jollyes, a UK pet shop chain, has announced plans to open more than 250 stores across the country. The company has already doubled its number of shops over the past three years, and it now wants to grow even further. More than 160 new locations have been chosen as possible sites. New stores opened in 2024 in towns including Blackpool, Hartlepool, and Whitehaven. The company is also targeting larger cities such as Birmingham, Liverpool, and Bristol. The expansion follows a strong financial year for the retailer. Consumer spending on pets has stayed high in the UK, which has helped pet shops perform well.
