UK experiences fourth summer heatwave with temperatures exceeding 30 degrees

The UK is facing its fourth heatwave of the summer, with temperatures expected to rise above 30°C in many areas. Southern and south-eastern England could reach 34 to 35°C, and the south Midlands may hit 34°C on Tuesday. London and parts of the Home Counties will also exceed 30°C. The hot weather is being pulled north by high pressure in the south, combined with the remains of Tropical Storm Dexter in the Atlantic. East Wales, the Midlands, and eastern England will be most affected. The warm and humid conditions are forecast to continue until Wednesday. Authorities have issued a yellow health alert because multiple heatwaves in one summer put serious pressure on people's health and on public services.
