Two gas tankers catch fire at Egyptian port in drone strike

Two liquefied natural gas tankers caught fire at Damietta Port in Egypt on Wednesday after what analysts believe was a drone attack. The two ships, the Gaslog Salem and the Energos Winter, were hit at the same time at around 14:20 GMT. Local emergency services put out both fires. One of the ships was moved away from the dock before its fire was fully extinguished. No one was killed or injured on either vessel. Security analysts said the small size of the impacts suggested drones with small warheads were used. No group has said it carried out the attack. Damietta Port sits near the Suez Canal, one of the world's most important shipping routes.
