Trump transferred to military aircraft via catering truck in Turkey

U.S. officials secretly moved President Trump to a different aircraft at Ankara airport in July 2026, after intelligence agencies discovered a credible Iranian plot to shoot down his plane.

Trump boarded the usual Air Force One in front of cameras. Minutes later, an airport catering truck carried him to a C-32A military jet. The White House told the public he was still on Air Force One.

U.S. intelligence had detected a plan by Iran and its allies to fire a missile at the presidential aircraft as it left Turkish airspace. Trump had attended a NATO summit in Ankara. He had previously called himself Iran's "number one target" during the summit, because the U.S. and Iran were in active conflict at the time.
