Trump claims Starlink restrictions lifted while Ukraine reports continued service disruptions

Ukraine says speed limits on its Starshield military satellite service are still in place, despite a claim by President Trump that he had fixed the problem. Trump said he called Elon Musk and asked him to remove the restrictions. But Ukrainian defence officials reported on Friday that the system still slowed down at around 161 km/h. Morning tests showed limits of 140 to 160 km/h, with navigation problems too. The service did improve slightly on Thursday after Trump's reported call, but it did not reach full capacity. Ukrainian officials said nobody had told them why the restrictions were put in place. SpaceX and Musk did not respond to questions about the issue.
