Trump aide Natalie Harp gains public attention after Turkey departure incident

Natalie Harp, a close aide to President Trump, became publicly known after a dramatic escape from Turkey in July 2025. She was one of very few staff members who left with Trump in a catering truck, hiding from a possible Iranian missile threat. The group then boarded a secret plane to safety.

Harp works as Trump's executive assistant and controls who can reach him. She is nicknamed the "Human Printer" because she regularly brings him printed news stories and polling results. She survived bone cancer and first appeared at the 2020 Republican National Convention, where she credited a Trump law for her treatment. She later worked in television before joining his 2024 campaign. Senator Jon Ossoff criticised her role in a speech that spread widely online.
