Trump aide Natalie Harp gains influence over president's communications

Natalie Harp, a close aide to President Trump, has become one of the most powerful people around him. She controls much of the information he receives and often reviews his social media posts before they go online. During Trump's 2024 campaign, colleagues called her the "human printer" because she carried a portable printer to give Trump printed news articles. She now works as his executive assistant. Other aides have raised concerns about her influence. They worry that she often chooses news from unreliable sources and mainly shows Trump positive stories about himself. She has travelled with Trump on secure flights and has been seen delivering papers to his private quarters at night. Some staff believe she has too much control over what the president reads and believes.
