Tropical storm Edouard dumps heavy rain across Texas, triggering flood alerts

Tropical Storm Edouard hit southeastern Texas in early September 2026, bringing dangerous flooding to the region. The storm dropped between 25 and 53 centimetres of rain in just a few hours in some places. Because the storm moved slowly and stayed small, heavy rain fell over the same areas again and again.
