Trezor shipping partner breach exposes 67,000 additional US customer records

Trezor has revealed that a shipping company called ShipMonk kept customer data it had promised to delete. The announcement came on September 4. Around 67,000 US customers who ordered between November 2019 and August 2021 had their personal details exposed. This brings the total number of affected customers to about 80,700. The exposed information includes names, email addresses, phone numbers, and delivery addresses. Trezor says it asked ShipMonk several times to delete the data and received written confirmation that it had done so. However, ShipMonk never actually removed the data from its systems. Trezor's own systems were not affected. The company has emailed all customers whose data was exposed. Anyone who did not receive an email was not affected by the breach.
