Tiger Woods arrested after Florida car crash, pleads not guilty

Tiger Woods was arrested on 27 March after his car hit a pickup truck near Jupiter Island, Florida. His Land Rover rolled over in the crash. Police said he showed signs of impairment at the scene. Woods told officers he was using his phone and changing the radio when he did not see the truck slowing ahead of him. He has been charged with driving under the influence and refusing a breath test. His lawyer entered a not guilty plea and requested a jury trial on Tuesday. Woods has said he will leave golf to get treatment. He had hoped to play at The Masters in April. In 2017, he was found asleep at the wheel and later pleaded guilty to reckless driving.
