Sweep and Climatiq integrate product carbon footprint calculation tool

Two carbon software companies, Sweep and Climatiq, announced a partnership on 26 October 2026. Together, they have built a tool called "Guided PCF" that helps suppliers calculate the carbon footprint of their products. Suppliers upload a list of materials, and the system uses AI to fill in missing data. Climatiq's calculation engine draws on emissions data from more than 60 providers across over 300 regions. The results follow a shared standard, so buyers can compare figures from different suppliers. Many companies now face new laws, including the EU's CSRD and California's SB253, that require detailed supply chain emissions data. Sweep already works with large companies such as L'Oréal and Crocs, which need this kind of verified data from their suppliers.
