A new survey shows that many company leaders are struggling to get real value from artificial intelligence. The Conference Board asked CEOs about their plans for 2026 and found that AI disruption was their biggest technology concern. Separately, only 29 percent of executives said AI tools have produced strong financial returns, and 48 percent called their AI results disappointing. Despite this, around 64 percent of leaders spend at least two hours each day using AI. The technology is also causing problems inside companies. More than half of executives said AI has created internal conflict, and 67 percent believe employees have leaked company data by using AI tools that were not approved.
