Spotify establishes new policies for artificial intelligence generated music

Spotify has introduced new rules about AI-generated music on its platform. The company will now require artists to give permission before anyone uses their voice in an AI song. Spotify's CEO Daniel Ek said AI music is allowed, but it cannot copy a real artist's voice without approval. The platform has already removed AI tracks that used the voices of dead musicians without permission from their families or record labels. Spotify has also agreed to support a new industry label that tells listeners when AI helped create a song. Some AI songs have already reached the top of Spotify's charts. Famous artists like Elton John and Dua Lipa have previously complained that AI companies use their work without asking.
