SpaceX announces new AI compute hosting deal worth thirteen billion annually

SpaceX has signed a new deal to host artificial intelligence computing for an unnamed customer, worth about $1.11 billion per month. CFO Bret Johnsen announced the agreement on September 10, 2026, at a technology conference in San Francisco. Payments will start on December 1, 2026. SpaceX did not say who the customer is. This is the fourth major AI hosting contract the company has announced in less than a year. Earlier customers include Anthropic, Google, and Reflection AI. SpaceX rents data-centre space with powerful computer chips to AI companies for training their models. The company expects to reach around two gigawatts of computing capacity by the end of 2026. With this new deal included, SpaceX projects total company revenue of $100 billion per year by December 2026.
