Sound Point Capital hires three investment professionals for European secured lending

Sound Point Capital Management has hired three investment professionals from Ninety One to build a secured lending team in London. Chris Rust and Lei Lei will serve as co-heads of European secured lending, and Lachlan Viney will work as a senior analyst. All three report to Russell Holliday, who leads Ninety One's European operations. Rust and Lei have more than twenty years of experience in European credit and deal advisory. Both previously worked at Oak Hill Advisors before moving to Ninety One. The new team will help complete the Ninety One European Credit Opportunities Fund 1. Sound Point, an alternative credit manager, wants to grow its private credit business in Europe. The partnership brings together Sound Point's resources and the team's specialist knowledge.
