Russian drone strikes train near Ukraine Poland border

A Russian drone hit a passenger train near Yagodyn station on the Ukraine-Poland border on Sunday. The station is close to where a diplomatic train had been carrying Boris Johnson and other Western officials just minutes before. That train left earlier than planned because Ukrainian authorities feared an attack. It had already crossed into Poland when the drone struck. Former CIA director David Petraeus was on a separate train at the station at the time. Ukraine's rail operator said the drone was "quite likely" aimed at the diplomatic train carrying Johnson. Russian drones also hit a gas station in the same town. No casualties were reported. The officials had been attending a security conference in Kyiv.
