Russian drone strike on shopping mall kills at least 15 in Ukraine

Russian drones hit a shopping centre in Kryvyi Rih, central Ukraine, on Friday, killing at least 15 people and injuring more than 100.

Two drones struck the building one after the other. The second hit about 30 minutes after the first. Ukrainian President Zelensky, who was born in Kryvyi Rih, said Russia timed the second strike to kill emergency workers arriving at the scene. He called the attack a deliberate atrocity.

Local officials said the drones flew at very low altitudes. Rescue teams came from four other regions to help search for survivors. Twenty-nine people were seriously injured.
