Raising Cane's chicken chain opens first UK restaurant in London next year

American fried chicken chain Raising Cane's will open its first UK restaurant at Piccadilly Circus in London in early 2027. The flagship branch will occupy a building on Coventry Street that previously housed an Angus Steakhouse.

The chain, which has more than 900 locations across the United States, is currently the third-largest chicken brand there, behind Chick-fil-A and Popeyes. Its menu is deliberately simple, built around chicken fingers, crinkle-cut fries, Texas toast, and its well-known house sauce.

The Piccadilly Circus opening is intended as the beginning of a wider push into Europe. Further London branches are planned near Oxford Circus, Paddington, and the South Bank, along with several drive-thru sites across Greater London. Celebrity supporters of the brand include Snoop Dogg, Post Malone, and Halle Berry.
