Prince William appeared on the New Heights podcast, hosted by American football stars Travis Kelce and his brother Jason, with the episode released on the same day Travis Kelce married Taylor Swift.

The conversation lasted around 30 minutes and covered football, the World Cup, and the difference between British and American sports culture. William joked about the word "soccer," insisting the sport should be called "football." He also revealed that King Charles dislikes football, and that his own passion for the game came from friends rather than his family. His first match was Aston Villa against Bolton, roughly 26 years ago.

When asked about England's World Cup chances, William said he was "quietly confident." He confirmed he would travel to the United States if England reached the final.
