Pineapple Financial moves over one billion dollars in mortgage records to blockchain

Pineapple Financial has moved more than one billion dollars in home loan records onto the Injective blockchain. The company started in December 2025 with 1,259 records. By September 2026, that number had grown to 2,079, covering about 1.1 billion dollars in loans. Each record holds more than 500 data points, including loan terms and risk information. Pineapple Financial wants to eventually move its entire ten-billion-dollar loan portfolio onto the blockchain. The company also holds one hundred million dollars in Injective tokens and stakes them through the exchange Kraken. Its PAPL0 token represents mortgage records, not ownership of the loans themselves. Pineapple Financial is currently the largest publicly traded holder of Injective tokens.
