Oba Femi forfeits title shot to face Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam

Oba Femi won the Men's King of the Ring tournament at WWE's Night of Champions event on June 27, defeating Jey Uso in the final. The event took place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Winning the tournament normally gives a wrestler the right to challenge for a championship, but Femi chose to give up that opportunity. Instead, he announced on WWE Raw the following Monday that he would face Brock Lesnar in a Hell in a Cell match at SummerSlam. The event is scheduled for August 1-2 in Atlantic City. Lesnar had previously pretended to retire at WrestleMania, which made the announcement more surprising. Sami Zayn won the Undisputed WWE Championship at the same Night of Champions show where Femi claimed his tournament victory.
