Nvidia CEO projects one trillion dollars in chip sales through 2027

Nvidia's chief executive Jensen Huang said in March that his company expects to earn at least $1 trillion from its next-generation AI chips by 2027. He made the announcement at Nvidia's GTC developer conference. The figure is double what Huang predicted just a year ago, when he forecast $500 billion. He said the main reason for the higher estimate is growing demand for AI inference, which is when AI systems answer questions and complete tasks. Nvidia's revenue has already been rising fast. In the company's fourth quarter, it reached $68 billion, which was 73 percent more than the same period the previous year. Cloud companies are expected to spend close to $700 billion on AI infrastructure in 2026 alone.
