Multiple food products recalled across United States for contamination and labeling violations

Several food products sold at major US retailers were pulled from shelves between early 2025 and mid-2026 after safety checks found contamination and labelling problems.

In June 2025, two ready-made chicken pasta dishes from Marketside and Home Chef were recalled because of possible Listeria bacteria. Around the same time, brown eggs sold under nine different brand names were linked to a Salmonella outbreak affecting several states. Both products had reached Walmart and Kroger stores nationwide.

Some recalls happened because manufacturers failed to list allergens correctly. Bread crumbs, BBQ sauces, and beef jerky were among the items missing warnings about ingredients like sesame, milk, or soy.
