Matt Damon reveals John Krasinski's five minute voicemail prank habit

Matt Damon revealed on a podcast on 7 July that his friend John Krasinski regularly sends him very long voicemail messages. Damon was speaking on Amy Poehler's "Good Hang" podcast when the topic of Boston came up. He explained that Krasinski, who also grew up near Boston, leaves voicemails that last around five minutes. In these messages, Krasinski pretends to be a character called a "Bitter Boston Guy," using a strong Boston accent. Damon even performed the impression himself during the podcast. He said the messages make him cry by the end. The two actors have been close friends for many years and have worked together professionally, including on Krasinski's 2024 film IF. Their families also spend a lot of time together.
