Man arrested with loaded gun at Trump golf course before president's visit

A man was arrested on Sunday at a golf course owned by President Donald Trump in California. Jeanine John Taele, 38, was seen walking the grounds and filming security arrangements two days before Trump was due to visit. Agents found him carrying a loaded gun with hollow-point bullets and a 16-round magazine. A second loaded pistol was found in his car. Both items broke California law, which bans magazines holding more than 10 rounds and restricts hollow-point ammunition. Taele was charged with carrying a hidden firearm and possessing prohibited ammunition. He pleaded not guilty on Tuesday. Investigators said they had no evidence he was planning an attack on the president. He was also being investigated for a separate robbery case.
