Kate Middleton makes surprise appearance at Wimbledon in sapphire suit

Kate Middleton made a surprise visit to Wimbledon on day four of the 2026 tournament, attending earlier in the week than she has in recent years. The Princess of Wales, who is the royal patron of the All England Club, usually only appears for the finals.

She wore a sapphire-blue linen suit by designer Gabriela Hearst with a white top from H&M, showing her well-known taste for mixing affordable and expensive clothing. Her earrings, a style called "Stella" by British jewellery brand Carousel Jewels, cost around £60 and quickly sold out after she was photographed wearing them.

During her visit, Kate met people waiting in the ticket queue before watching a second-round match on Court No. 1, where she sat alongside former tennis champion Andy Murray.
