Kate Middleton completes Three Peaks Challenge and visits Wimbledon

Catherine, Princess of Wales, visited Wimbledon on 2 July 2026, just days after finishing the National Three Peaks Challenge. The challenge involved climbing three mountains in 24 hours: Ben Nevis in Scotland, Scafell Pike in England, and Snowdon in Wales, covering around 23 miles and more than 10,000 feet of climbing. She completed it to raise money for the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, following her cancer diagnosis in 2024 and subsequent remission. Prince William, her children, and her parents were waiting at the finish line to congratulate her. During the challenge, she met an 11-year-old boy named Ted, who uses a wheelchair, and later donated money to support him. At Wimbledon, where she has been patron since 2016, she handed out tickets and spoke with fans queuing outside.
