Jonathan Lipnicki stars in psychological thriller about To Catch a Predator

Jonathan Lipnicki, best known as a child actor in Jerry Maguire and Stuart Little, has taken on a very different kind of role. He appears in Primetime, a new psychological thriller from studio A24. The film tells the story behind NBC's reality show To Catch a Predator, which caught men trying to meet children for sex. Lipnicki plays a man who is caught by the show's host, Chris Hansen. Robert Pattinson plays Hansen in the film. Lipnicki, now 35, has spoken before about people telling him his career was finished. The film was directed by Lance Oppenheim and written by first-time screenwriter Ajon Singh, based on an Esquire article. The cast also includes Merritt Wever and Phoebe Bridgers.
