Jolin Tsai releases her 15th studio album Pleasure in July 2025

Taiwanese pop star Jolin Tsai released her 15th studio album, "Pleasure," on 25 July 2025. It is her first full album since "Ugly Beauty" came out in 2018. The lead single, also called "Pleasure," had already appeared in May, followed by a second track, "DIY," in late June.

The album was recorded in studios across Taipei, New Taipei, and Los Angeles. Tsai worked with several producers, including British producer Richard Craker, who has collaborated with her before. The title song took two years to finish and was originally planned as a short interlude. A songwriting session in Los Angeles helped the team complete the chorus.

Tsai was closely involved in production choices, including how backing vocals were arranged. The album runs just over 34 minutes.
