Israeli airstrikes kill at least 13 people in Gaza Strip

Israeli forces carried out airstrikes on residential buildings in Gaza on Sunday, killing at least 13 Palestinians. The strikes hit apartment buildings in several areas, including al-Mawasi, Gaza City, and Deir el-Balah. Among the dead were children and an elderly person. In one attack in southern Gaza, three members of the same family were killed, including a four-year-old child. The Israeli military said the strikes targeted militant fighters. The attacks happened over two days, Saturday and Sunday. This comes at a difficult moment in negotiations, because Hamas has recently agreed to a disarmament deal supported by the United States.
