Investors sue Selena Gomez over failed mental health startup Wondermind

Investors have sued Selena Gomez and two co-founders of the mental health startup Wondermind in a federal court in Delaware. The lawsuit was filed in August 2026 and claims the founders committed fraud.

Wondermind launched in November 2021 and told investors it was worth $95 million. Nearly $1.2 million was invested in the company. Gomez signed a contract to lead marketing and act as chief impact officer. The founders promised to build a mobile app and attract advertisers, but neither happened.

In April 2025, the company stopped paying its employees. It had run out of money. The founders did not tell investors the business was failing. Media reports in May and September 2025 revealed the company's financial problems and collapse.
