Harvesters food bank seeks volunteers for urgent perishable food distribution

Harvesters food bank has asked for extra volunteers to help give out a large amount of donated food. The bank received more perishable items than usual, including bread and fresh produce. These foods spoil quickly, so the bank needs to move them fast.

Volunteers are needed to sort and distribute the donations before they go bad. Without enough help, some of the food could be wasted. Harvesters serves communities across 27 counties, so there is a lot of ground to cover.

Food banks depend on volunteers to do much of their daily work. When donations arrive in large amounts, they need more hands quickly. The bank has put out an urgent call to anyone in the community who can help.
