GoFundMe for Lindsay Clancy's parents reaches 1.2 million after mistrial

A fundraiser for the parents of Lindsay Clancy has raised over $1.2 million from more than 34,000 donors. Clancy faced murder charges in Massachusetts, and her trial ended in a mistrial on 4 September 2026 after jurors could not agree on a verdict. Her parents, Mike and Paula Musgrove, spent more than three years travelling to court and paying for accommodation and living costs. They also moved from Connecticut to Massachusetts during this time. Brandee Mulligan, who organised the fundraiser, said the money will help the family recover financially. She also confirmed it will not pay for Lindsay's legal defence. After the mistrial was declared, Mulligan raised the fundraising goal from $2 million to $3 million.
