Fourteen-year-old kills grandparents and eight others at Thai school

A 14-year-old student shot and killed five teachers and a 12-year-old classmate at a school near Bangkok on Friday. He also killed his grandparents at home before going to Debsirin Nonthaburi School at around 10 a.m. More than 30 other people were injured, and nine of them are in a serious condition. The gun belonged to his grandfather and was legally registered. Police found nine electronic devices at his home. His computer showed that he had searched for information about school shootings. Thailand's Prime Minister said the attack was planned carefully and that the boy carried great stress. Classes at the school, which has about 3,000 students, have been suspended until 14 August.
