Four people killed when car crashes into trees on A38 near Derby

Four people have died after a car left a dual carriageway near Derby late on Saturday night. The crash happened at around 11pm on the A38, between two junctions north of the city. A red Hyundai went off the road and hit trees. Three people died at the scene: a man aged 36 and two women aged 18 and 30. A baby girl was taken to hospital but died shortly after. A fifth person in the car was seriously hurt. Derbyshire Police have told the families and are supporting them with specialist officers. Police are now asking anyone who saw the crash, or who has dash cam footage from that road, to come forward.
