First Majestic reports Q1 2026 silver production tracking annual guidance

First Majestic Silver reported its first quarter 2026 production figures in late August, covering its four underground mines in Mexico. The company produced 3.5 million ounces of silver and just over 34,000 ounces of gold between January and March. These numbers represent roughly 26% and 28% of its full-year targets for each metal. First Majestic also sold its Del Toro mine to Sierra Madre in June for up to $60 million, and updated its annual guidance after the sale. Spending on underground development rose more than 50% compared to the previous year. Work continues at the Santa Elena mill and at Los Gatos, where the company is trying to move more ore through the processing system each day.
