Fans gather in Wales to pay respects to Bonnie Tyler

Fans gathered in Mumbles, Swansea on Saturday to pay their respects to Welsh singer Bonnie Tyler. Her coffin was carried through the streets on its way to her former home in Llwynderw. Tyler, whose real name was Gaynor Hopkins, died unexpectedly on 8 July at a hospital in Portugal. She was 75. The coffin was covered with the Welsh flag and a framed photograph travelled with it. People lined Newton Road to watch the procession pass. Many placed flowers on the hearse as it went by. Tyler grew up in Neath and was married to Robert Sullivan for more than 50 years. She is best known for her 1983 song "Total Eclipse of the Heart."
