Experienced Santa trains other performers for Christmas season

Bruce Eagle has trained about 50 people to work as Santa Claus in shopping centres this Christmas. Eagle, who has played Father Christmas since 1967, teaches professional classes on how to do the job well. The training focused on practical skills, such as how to talk to children of different ages, including teenagers. Shopping centres need many Santas during the holiday season because demand is high. Professional training helps make sure that children have a good experience when they visit Santa. Eagle is one of the most experienced performers in the role, and his classes prepare new Santas for the busy weeks ahead. The 50 participants will soon begin their holiday shifts at shopping centres across the country.
