Ex Machina becomes available to stream free on Roku Channel

The science fiction film Ex Machina is now free to watch on the Roku Channel in the United States. The movie is an AI thriller about a programmer who wins a competition. His prize is a week at his CEO's private home, where he meets an artificial intelligence called Ava. Alicia Vikander plays Ava, and Domhnall Gleeson plays the programmer. Alex Garland directed and wrote the film. It was his first time directing, though he had already written screenplays for 28 Days Later and Sunshine. Critics and audiences have both rated it highly on Rotten Tomatoes, where it holds 92% from critics and 86% from audiences.
