DC Studios releases Clayface psychological horror film

DC Studios has released Clayface, a horror film based on the DC Comics character of the same name. James Watkins directed the film, and Mike Flanagan and Hossein Amini wrote the screenplay. Tom Rhys Harries plays Matt Hagen, an actor whose face is badly injured. He visits a scientist who changes his body into clay, but this causes him to lose his mind. Naomi Ackie, David Dencik, and Eddie Marsan also star in the film. It is rated R and is the third film in the new DC Universe. The story takes place before the 2025 Superman film. Producers James Gunn and Peter Safran have said they want DC Studios to explore darker kinds of storytelling.
