The recommended routine takes only a few seconds and involves wiping the rubber door seal and soap drawer after every wash, then leaving both open so air can circulate.

Several users reported that their machines stayed completely free of mould for four to five years after following this approach. For machines that already have mould on the rubber seal, vinegar has been suggested as a natural remedy.
