Chris Hansen purchases theater ads for streaming network before Primetime release

Chris Hansen, the former host of To Catch a Predator, has bought advertising space before screenings of Primetime, a new film about his life. The ads promote TruBlu, his true crime streaming network, where he still runs predator investigations today. In the advertisement, Hansen uses his famous catchphrase from his original NBC show. The ads will play before every cinema showing for at least the first four weeks of the film's release. Primetime is directed by Lance Oppenheim, and Robert Pattinson plays Hansen in the film. The move lets Hansen reach audiences who are already interested in his story. As of August 20, Hansen had not yet watched the film himself.
