During the livestream, viewers could see him covered in blood with cuts on his body. He appeared to be holding a knife. People who watched the stream contacted the authorities. The Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office went to his home, and fire rescue crews transported him to a local hospital. Under Florida law, he was involuntarily committed for a psychiatric evaluation, a process known as the Baker Act. TikTok removed the video from its platform. His family has asked the public to respect their privacy while he receives medical care.
