Cameron Monaghan cast as young Harry Bosch in prequel series

A new prequel series called "Bosch: Start Of Watch" is in development. It will follow Harry Bosch during his early years as a police officer. Cameron Monaghan has been chosen to play the younger version of the character. Titus Welliver, who played Bosch in the original series and "Bosch: Legacy," will not appear in the prequel. However, Welliver is working on a separate crime drama called "The Westies," which will air on MGM+ in the summer. He has also said he is open to returning to the Bosch world in future projects. The franchise is based on detective novels by Michael Connelly and continues to grow with new stories and characters.
