British sprinter Hunt wins third gold at European Athletics Championships

Amy Hunt won her third gold medal at the European Athletics Championships in Birmingham on Saturday. She ran in the women's 4x100m relay, which Britain won in 42.05 seconds. That was the fastest relay time in Europe this year. Britain finished more than ten metres ahead of Switzerland and Poland.

Hunt, 24, had already won gold in the 100m and 200m at the same championships. Britain's men's team also won their 4x100m relay on Saturday.

Hunt will compete in the mixed 4x100m relay on Sunday. If she wins, she will become the first athlete to take four gold medals at a single European Athletics Championships. The competition has a history of 92 years.
