Brighton defeats Arsenal 3-0 in Premier League match

Brighton beat Arsenal 3-0 at the Amex Stadium on Saturday, ending Arsenal's perfect start to the Premier League season. Arsenal had won all seven of their opening matches, but Brighton controlled the game from early on. The home side pressed hard and took the lead midway through the first half. Pascal Groß, Charalampos Kostoulas, and Chema Andres all scored for Brighton. It was Arsenal's first league defeat since April. Manager Mikel Arteta said his team did not compete at the level required, especially when fighting for the ball. He admitted Brighton deserved to win and called the result a "big lesson" for his players.
