Bob Vylan sues BBC over antisemitism claims after Glastonbury performance

The British rock band Bob Vylan is suing the BBC for defamation after the broadcaster criticized their performance at Glastonbury Festival in June 2025. During their set, the band led crowd chants supporting Palestine and displayed political messages. The BBC broadcast the performance live but later removed it from its online services. The corporation called the performance "offensive and deplorable" and said parts of it were antisemitic. Bob Vylan denies these claims and launched legal action in July 2026.
